Ukrainian drones strike Russian retailer, three injured

Ukraine has sharply intensified its long‑range drone campaign, targeting oil facilities, warehouses, residential buildings, and other infrastructure deep inside Russian territory as its forces face battlefield setbacks.

The escalation follows recent losses on the ground, including the capture of the strategic stronghold of Konstantinovka in northwestern Donbass, which opened a route toward the Slavyansk‑Kramatorsk agglomeration, the last major cities remaining under Ukrainian control in the region.

Russian military officials reported an offensive toward Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, with forces reaching the outskirts of Nikolayevka, roughly 20 km from Slavyansk.

Moscow has labeled the Ukrainian drone raids as terrorist attacks against civilians and announced an increase in strikes on Ukraine’s military‑industrial and logistical infrastructure in retaliation.
