Tottenham Begins Talks to Secure Brazilian Transfer

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly weighing the possibility of selling striker Richarlison, who is entering the final year of his contract and could depart for a reduced fee if not secured.

The Brazilian, who netted 12 goals last season, has been hampered by injuries and inconsistent form during his four-year spell in London, prompting a reassessment of his role under manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Interest has been expressed by Juventus and Fenerbahçe, with Juventus presenting the most realistic European pathway, especially if they can secure a deal for Randal Kolo Muani.

Negotiations are said to target a transfer fee between €20 million and €25 million, a figure that aligns with the club’s budget and the player’s salary expectations.

Richarlison’s versatility, able to play centrally or from the left, adds value for a potential new club. His preference for remaining in the Premier League or another top European league gives Juventus a competitive edge.

The player has previously declined a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, citing a desire to compete at the highest level and maintain his standing with the Brazilian national team.

If Juventus submits a bid close to the upper end of the estimated range, Tottenham could approve the transfer, citing the need to avoid uncertainty with a player approaching contract expiry.

For the Italian side, acquiring Richarlison would represent a calculated risk rather than a major financial commitment, offering the possibility of a fresh start in elite European football.
