David and Victoria Beckham spent the weekend holidaying in the South of France, staying in the town of St Tropez.
During the same period, their son Brooklyn Beckham, 27, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 31, were observed aboard Sir Elton John’s yacht as part of their French vacation.
David Beckham was seen on his own pleasure boat with his younger son Romeo, 23, including a moment where he showered on the deck before both couples disembarked for meals on land.
Photographers captured the two couples within a five‑minute walking distance of each other, suggesting a potential, though unplanned, family encounter.
David and Victoria walked hand‑in‑hand past a local candy shop before entering a nearby Italian‑New York styled restaurant.
Brooklyn and Nicola browsed a boutique and later stopped for ice cream at a nearby shop, remaining unaware of their parents’ proximity.
Earlier in the summer the Beckham family visited Formentera, accompanied by their children Romeo, Cruz, Harper and Romeo’s girlfriend.
Brooklyn has been absent from recent family milestones, including his father’s knighthood ceremony and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star presentation.
Earlier this year Brooklyn appeared in a DoorDash commercial that hinted at his strained relationship with his parents, showing him watching the upcoming World Cup alone and referring to a “long story.”
The commercial was widely interpreted as a reference to the ongoing family rift, which became public after Brooklyn posted on Instagram stating he has no plans to reconcile with his parents.
Since that announcement, Brooklyn has not acknowledged his family on social media, despite major events in his parents’ lives.
