GSIS has refunded P9.06 billion to more than 500,000 members and pensioners under its expanded Balik Ginhawa 2 program, 24 days after the initiative was launched.
Including the original Balik Ginhawa program, the fund has returned over P18 billion in loan amortizations to beneficiaries across the country.
The GSIS Touch mobile app now lets members who received less than their expected refund check for remaining refundable amounts and submit new claims directly from their devices.
Balik Ginhawa 2 broadens coverage by extending eligible loan amortizations from three to six months, providing greater financial relief to participants.
