Farage Confrontation Turns Violent as Woman Shouts Racial Slur

The dramatic video of a woman crashing her car after shouting abuse at Nigel Farage has left many stunned, and the Reform UK leader has taken to social media to share the clip.

According to the footage, the woman took her eyes off the road to shout abuse at Farage before driving into the back of the car in front, which had stopped at a red light.

Farage shared the clip on his social media account, adding that the woman's actions were a prime example of "instant karma."

LONDON, ENGLAND - AUGUST 29: Reform UK leader Nigel Farage smokes a cigarette outside a pub on August 29, 2024 in London, England. The UK government is looking at tougher rules on outdoor smoking to reduce the number of preventable deaths linked to tobacco use. Leader of the Reform UK party, Nigel Farage, said he would never go to a pub again if outside smoking is banned. He accuses the government of ignoring drug abuse, instead implementing policies that will "kill off the traditional pub forever." (Photo by Carl Court/Getty Images)

Farage's popularity has been on a downward trajectory since last August, with a recent poll suggesting he is less popular than Sir Keir Starmer.

The Reform UK leader has been facing criticism over his party's financial dealings, including a £5 million "gift" he received before the 2024 election.

Farage called a by-election in protest at media and parliamentary scrutiny of his finances and backers, but his move backfired when every major party declined to take part in the vote.

The by-election will now feature a record 33 rival candidates, including joke candidate Count Binface and actor-turned-politician Laurence Fox.

The main Westminster parties have dismissed the contest as a "stunt" by Farage, and the Reform UK leader is now facing opponents from the Official Monster Raving Loony Party and an array of independents.

Farage's decision to rerun in the by-election was seen as a way to frame it as a "people versus the establishment" battle, but it seems to have backfired.

Reform UK MPs are being given round-the-clock security protection after the death of Ann Widdecombe, and Farage will face intense scrutiny in the lead-up to the by-election.
