Arsenal and Tottenham Compete to Sign Frightening Defender

Arsenal and Tottenham Compete to Sign Frightening Defender

Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly eyeing Norway winger Antonio Nusa, who currently plays for RB Leipzig. The 21‑year‑old has tallied ten goals in 71 appearances across all competitions for the German side.

Nusa joined Leipzig in 2024 after a €22.5 million move from Club Brugge. A potential transfer to Brentford earlier that year fell through when complications arose during his medical assessment.

His performances in the Bundesliga and a strong showing for Norway at the World Cup have put him back on the radar of top English clubs.

Arsenal v Fulham - Premier League

Both teams are willing to pay around €60 million for the winger, following Arsenal’s recent acquisition of Christos Tzolis from Brugge and the departure of Leandro Trossard to Besiktas.

Tottenham, which has already invested heavily under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, has also expressed interest in Nusa as it continues to strengthen its squad with signings such as Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.

Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney praised Nusa’s speed, versatility, and experience in the Champions League, noting that the player can contribute both goals and assists from the high left wing.

The potential acquisition could provide a valuable option for Arsenal’s attack, especially as several squad members miss the pre‑season tour, and offers Tottenham a dynamic addition to complement their recent spending spree.
