Microsoft announced that OneDrive will cease support for Windows 10 version 22H1 effective August 15, 2026.
Following that date, OneDrive will no longer guarantee compatibility or functionality on the affected operating system.
Users may still be able to synchronize files, but the service will not receive new features, security updates, or bug fixes, leaving any post‑deadline issues unresolved.
To retain full OneDrive capabilities, users of Windows 10 22H1 should upgrade to version 22H2 before the August 15 deadline.
Windows 10 22H2 will remain compatible with OneDrive and will continue receiving updates through October 10, 2028.
Organizations are advised to schedule the migration promptly to avoid potential service disruptions.
