A 39-year-old man who worked as a school chef and camp counsellor in Toronto has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault involving a female youth. According to investigators, the accused met the victim through social media in 2024 and allegedly sexually and physically assaulted the victim on multiple occasions between then and July 2026.
The accused, Dale Jeisman, has been charged with sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age, two counts each of assault and sexual assault, and one count of assault/choking. His image has been released as investigators believe there may be more victims.
Jeisman was employed as a chef at a school in the Don Mills Rd.-Lawrence Ave. E. area and as a summer camp counsellor in the Lawrence Ave. W.-Dufferin St. area. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
A 61-year-old Markham psychologist has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference following an investigation into an incident that occurred at a clinic in the area of John St. and Bayview Ave. in Markham. On June 29, the victim attended an appointment with the psychologist and was allegedly touched inappropriately during a massage.
The accused, Farrokh Sedigh-Delami, was charged following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Markham. His image has been released as investigators believe there may be additional victims. York Regional Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a jewelry theft that occurred on June 1 in Newmarket. A suspect entered a jewelry store in the area of Yonge St. and Davis Dr. and fled the store on foot after putting on a gold chain.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-9, with a medium build, short brown hair and a brown goatee. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering, black pants, a black-and-white baseball cap, and black-and-white shoes. Police are investigating a second overnight shooting in Hamilton Mountain's Ryckmans neighbourhood. Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, cops were called to the area of Atessa Dr. and Rymal Rd. E. for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings in front of an Atessa Dr. residence and no one was injured.
The first shooting occurred on Tuesday morning at the same residence around 4:30 a.m. Police say a vehicle of interest was located a short distance away, and the occupant was arrested and a firearm was recovered from the vehicle. A Niagara-area youth has been charged with several firearms offences.
Police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and are also requesting any residents or business in the immediate neighbourhood to check their security systems for any potential video that may assist the investigation.
