ABOITIZ INFRACAPITAL, the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz group, has announced a significant partnership with PETRON Corporation to construct and operate a dedicated jet fuel depot at Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA).
In a statement released over the weekend, ABOITIZ INFRACAPITAL emphasized the partnership's commitment to upgrading the airport's infrastructure and ensuring the reliability of fuel supply services.
PETRON, the nation's leading oil refinery, boasts an impressive processing capacity of 180,000 barrels daily. This collaboration with BPIA marks another milestone in our strategic partnership with ABOITIZ INFRACAPITAL, ensuring a secure and optimized fuel supply chain.
Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) reveals that the Philippines' average daily fuel demand hit 78,000,000 liters as of July 10. The daily jet fuel demand amounts to 5,650,000 liters, with an ample 80 days' worth of fuel supply readily available, according to data from the DOE.
