The raid yielded a significant seizure: over $9,000 in cash, along with numerous illegal gambling devices and incriminating documentation. Evidence pointed to a sophisticated operation, carefully designed to skirt the law and profit from the thrill of the game.
One individual, Phong Thanh Tu, was identified as the suspect and charged with possession of gambling devices. This wasn’t his first encounter with the law regarding illegal gambling; records show a similar arrest five years earlier, in 2020.

Ledesma’s scheme involved a shocking level of deception, utilizing the identities of deceased individuals to launder an astonishing $21 million through the El Toro Game Room, ultimately resulting in an 18-month sentence.
