The revived competition series confirmed that its popular contestant known as Cyclone will not return for the upcoming season.
Lystus Ebosele, an Irish powerlifting champion who performed under the name Cyclone, posted a statement indicating that she left the program of her own accord and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to families and viewers.
She clarified that she will not appear in the fourth series or any subsequent series, but announced her participation in the live tour scheduled for 2026.
Ebosele thanked fans for their support and emphasized that she has no regrets about her time on the show, noting the impact she hopes to have had on inspiring a new generation.
Two other gladiators, Bionic and Athena, are also absent from the upcoming season due to injuries, though producers indicated they may be available for future touring events.
Athena, whose real name is Karenjeet Kaur Bains, has been undergoing a six‑month rehabilitation following ACL surgery and shared detailed updates on her recovery progress through an online platform.
Bionic’s injury details remain undisclosed, but the expectation is a possible return after a period of recovery.
Earlier in the year, another competitor, Giant, departed the series after a dispute and was succeeded by a new strongman entrant.
Representatives for the production declined to comment on the recent roster changes.
Filming for the fourth season continues, with plans for the series to return later in the year.
