MAGA Republicans pledge strong November turnout, Emmer says

MAGA Republicans pledge strong November turnout, Emmer says

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer asserted that the MAGA movement remains resilient in the upcoming midterm elections, even without former President Donald Trump on the ballot.

He cited a recent poll conducted between July 9 and 10 among 1,019 registered voters, which found that 75% of Trump‑aligned Republicans expressed a firm intention to vote in the November 3, 2026 congressional elections.

In comparison, 70% of traditional Republicans and 63% of Democrats reported the same level of certainty about voting.

Emmer highlighted that, in a typical non‑presidential year, enthusiasm gaps often appear, but the poll indicates the highest projected turnout among MAGA supporters, with eight to nine out of ten stating they will go to the polls.

He emphasized that predictions of low turnout for this group have proven inaccurate, underscoring the sustained enthusiasm among Trump voters.
